Your choices

Necessary technology is always active. Analytics and Affiliate/marketing are off until you choose them. Reject optional and Accept all have equal prominence, and Manage choices lets you decide by category. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Withdrawing a choice stops future optional loading; it does not change processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Necessary storage and security

• scentz_web_session_v1 in sessionStorage: the limited signed-in session for this tab. It is cleared on sign-out and normally ends with the browser session.
• scentiki_consent_v1 in localStorage: consent notice version 2026-10-05, selected categories and update time. It remains until the choice is replaced or browser data is cleared.
• Cloudflare and Supabase process ordinary network and security information required to deliver, protect and authenticate the service. A Cloudflare Turnstile challenge may be loaded for Auth abuse prevention as strictly necessary technology.

The legal basis for browser access that is strictly necessary to provide a requested service is necessity; related security processing relies on legitimate interests and, where applicable, contractual necessity.

Analytics

Analytics is not active at launch. If SCENTIKI activates Plausible Analytics later, it will load only after Analytics consent and while this information remains accurate. Plausible does not set cookies or persistent device identifiers. It derives a daily identifier from IP address and user agent using a rotating salt; Plausible states that raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are not stored and that visitor data stays on European-owned infrastructure in the EU.

SCENTIKI may then send page paths, referral and supported campaign information, broad device/browser and location information, and minimal custom events for Find steps and completion, result-count buckets, search success, public scent and house views, account creation or sign-in method, affiliate clicks, error categories and sampled performance buckets. It will not send search text, email, account ID, review content or exact Find answers. The purpose is aggregate product improvement and reliability, and the legal basis is consent.

Activation requires a rolling 14-month reporting period, or an equivalent deletion routine, in the selected Plausible plan. Plausible site statistics can also be deleted entirely. Plausible's DPA applies automatically to customers.

Affiliate and marketing

No affiliate network or marketing tag is active in the current launch candidate. The category is present so SCENTIKI can request a separate choice if a selected partner later requires browser storage, pixels or comparable tracking. Ordinary approved outbound links will be clearly marked as affiliate links. Compensation, partner availability and tracking never affect Find ranking, catalogue inclusion or recommended ordering.

SCENTIKI does not activate individual advertising profiles, retargeting or cross-site behavioural tracking at launch. Before a partner technology is enabled, this page will name the network, identifiers, recipients, retention and transfer mechanism.

Consent record

The browser record contains only the consent version, timestamp and three category values. It is not sent to SCENTIKI's account database. This makes the current choice inspectable on the device without creating a new central user profile.
