Agreement and operator

These terms apply to the free SCENTIKI website at scentiki.com and related support. SCENTIKI is operated by Khalid Hatif, Runebergsgatan 2, 416 58 Göteborg, Sweden. Contact: support@scentiki.com.

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. Each time you submit a review, photo or Similar Scents contribution, you also agree to the contribution rules in these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

Accounts

You must use an email address you control, protect passwords and login codes, and keep account information reasonably accurate. Do not share login credentials, use another person's account or create accounts to evade moderation. Tell support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

SCENTIKI is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age at which you can enter these terms independently where you live, use SCENTIKI only with permission from a parent or guardian.

SCENTIKI information

Perfume facts, classifications, ratings, similarity suggestions, price bands and Find results are discovery aids. They are not medical, allergy, safety or purchasing advice and do not guarantee that a fragrance will suit you, be available or match a current retail price. Check product labels and retailer or manufacturer information before use or purchase.

How Find and recommendations work

Find ranks fragrances primarily from the choices you make, including scent character, notes, setting, intensity and selected price bands, against catalogue attributes and confidence. A strict choice may exclude fragrances that do not meet it. Recommended catalogue ordering may also use general popularity and catalogue priority. Similar Scents reflects catalogue relationships and aggregated community votes. These systems do not use individual advertising profiles, and affiliate availability or compensation never affects ranking, similarity or catalogue inclusion.

Reviews, photos and Similar Scents

Community contributions include ratings, review text, structured scent answers, Similar Scents suggestions and votes, profile information and uploaded photos. Contributions must reflect your genuine experience or opinion, be relevant to fragrance discovery and be lawful. Similar Scents votes are community signals; they do not automatically overwrite SCENTIKI's canonical catalogue or guarantee that two fragrances are equivalent.

You keep ownership of content you create. You give SCENTIKI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, moderate and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and present SCENTIKI. For public-facing contributions, the licence continues until the content is deleted, except for rotating backups, limited moderation or abuse records and legal obligations described in the Privacy Notice.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload. Do not submit confidential information, personal data about someone else, paid or undisclosed promotional content, copied retailer or brand copy, malicious links, or material that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights. Photos must be your own or otherwise lawfully licensed for this use and must not identify another person without their permission.

Moderation and appeals

Ratings, review text, review photos and Similar Scents votes are normally published immediately and may be checked afterward. Profile photos are currently account-private. SCENTIKI may hold, label, hide or remove content, reduce its visibility, or restrict an account when reasonably necessary for safety, service integrity, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms.

When SCENTIKI restricts content or an account, it will provide the affected user with a reason where required and reasonably possible. You may request a free review of a moderation decision by emailing support@scentiki.com from the account email and identifying the contribution and decision. Reports of illegal content can be sent to the same address with the subject “Illegal content notice” and enough detail to locate and assess the content.

Acceptable use

Free access is for ordinary human use, not unlimited automated use. Do not interfere with the service, evade access controls or rate limits, scrape at unreasonable scale, submit automated spam, probe systems without permission, impersonate others, or use SCENTIKI for illegal, deceptive, abusive or infringing activity. SCENTIKI may rate-limit or block abusive traffic without changing ordinary access.

Intellectual property

The SCENTIKI name, software, website copy, visual system and original interface materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of those materials or of third-party perfume and brand names.

Affiliate links and independence

Some retailer links may earn SCENTIKI a commission without increasing the price paid to the retailer. Commercial links will be identified clearly where they appear. Affiliate availability, commission and retailer relationships do not influence Find ranking, similarity results or catalogue inclusion. External retailers control their own products, prices, availability, checkout, cookies and privacy practices.

Availability and changes

Features and catalogue content may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. SCENTIKI may limit traffic to protect reliability, security and operating costs. Material changes will be dated and communicated in a proportionate way. Material changes to contribution terms may require contributors to accept a new version before submitting more community content.

Account ending and deletion

You may stop using SCENTIKI or delete your account. SCENTIKI may restrict or end access for serious or repeated violations, security threats or legal requirements. Account deletion is described at scentiki.com/delete-account.

Disclaimers and responsibility

SCENTIKI is provided free of charge and on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent or gross negligence where applicable. SCENTIKI is not responsible for third-party stores, providers, retailers or external links outside its reasonable control.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without taking away mandatory protections you have under the law of the country where you live. Disputes may be brought before the competent Swedish court or another court available to you under mandatory consumer law.
